This is a survival/pvp server.
EVERYONE begins their journeys here with 400 claim blocks. These claim blocks can be used to set up a safe haven for your items. If you use up your claim blocks, more can be purchased from the server for $200.00 each.
The protected area is 100% grief proof. (If you can find a way to grief it let me know!) No one can kill your animals, or trample your crops or access your chests, or dump water on you or build in your area etc. This mod (grief prevention)seems pretty solid in that they've thought of everything and worked it out one way or another.
OUTSIDE of this protection, you are on your own! If you are killed by another player you can and will be looted by whoever killed you. If you leave items in a chest unprotected outside your claim, they can and likely will be stolen!
Use your head, and realize it is unsafe beyond your front yard and you should be ok.
We also run MCMMO, an rpg plugin that allows you to level up as you play on the server! The more you do anything from mining to fighting the more skilled your character will become!
This also means you need to be careful who you pick a fight with... it's hard to tell what level sword skill that guy you are trying to rob might have!
Most of all have fun! Go kill people, go build something fabulous, go hunt some mobs, or just go explore. We are all about people getting to do what they want to do, so go out there and do it!

let me just say that honestly claim blocks are way to expensive, especially if everything on the server other than lapis is 50 cents.
