This is a guide for new players to the server, specifically commands that seem important to know even before you know more about our specific plugins.
The first thing you will encounter joining the server is a "maze" with signs that lead you to a command to be promoted to a citizen. Basically this is a way for you to read the rules without REQUIRING you to join the forums/do some sort of introductory post. (It would still be nice if you did
) Read ALL the signs, and enter the / command that they reveal in the order you find the letters as you walk the "maze". I promise the resulting command DOES work! (A lot of people seem to leave off a letter which is there to prevent guessing the command prematurely, wonder why they leave it off? )
Once you are a citizen, there are some basic things that might differ between our server and other servers you should know.
The #1 most important command you should know is /help! The server helps those who help themselves! Type this in fallowed by something you are trying to figure out and it will list commands that contain that string of letters. For example McMMO has a built in party system. If I was trying to figure out how to create a party I could type "/help party" and recive a list of commands that contain the word party either in the actual description or in the description.
Important command:
/help
We have multiple worlds! Because of this, you receive 1 /home for each world by default. For example if you set a home in the pve world and try to /home in the pvp world it wont work! (Unless you have already set another home in pvp) the same goes for the skylands and creative worlds!
There are also different "spawns" for each world. (including pvp and pve worlds nethers/ends) /spawn will take you back to the main spawn where you can choose from minigames and other worlds. if you want to go back to the spawn of the world you are currently in you must use the command /mvspawn (multiverse spawn)
Note that your money will remain persistent across all worlds(excluding creative) but your items are specific to the world you are in! (in this case items are persistent between the nether/end and the overworld they belong to.

Every citizen is able to claim land on the server! A good guide to this was written by old in the griefprevention section of the plugin guides, so I wont go into much detail about how it's done here, just know that you can and that you can buy claim blocks from the server for $200 each. The command for this is /buyclaimblocks or. Some other commands related to this plugin just as a reference are /trust and /abandonclaim. Remember for more info read the guide by OldManNickerson.

We run McMMO on the server. Most of what happens with McMMO happens passively as you play, but some commands are used. I mentioned parties earlier in this guide. You are allowed full access to the party system in McMMO so you can create, invite, privately chat, and even teleport to other members of your party. Using the /help command exactly as I demonstrated would give you a list of all the necessary commands, but for the sake of listing them here /ptp is to teleport, /party is used to create or join a party and /partychat is used for chat! Also in mcmmo everyone has stats, to check your stats use the command /stats!
Important commands:

/partychat
/ptp
/stats
Minigames! We have quite a few minigames, while some of them are running off individual plugins several are using the minigames plugin that allows me to build custom minigames. Probably the most important command you need to know related to minigames is "/mgm quit". This will allow you to leave the minigame you are currently in. (Once you click the sign you either have to finish the minigame or quit it before you can really do much of anything else) Other minigames have their own commands, but will warn you when joining them on how to use them. For example Mob arena is "/ma leave".
Important commands:
/mgm quit
/ma leave
